RMA Policies and Procedures
I. PRODUCT WARRANTY
The products sold by Memory Systems have a limited warranty of 1 year from the date of the invoice against manufacturer defects and at the discretion of Memory Systems will be repaired or replaced. See return policy for detailed instructions. Products with a longer warranty period or not covered by this warranty will be clearly indicated on the invoice.
II. SHIPPING POLICY
1.
All returns must be delivered to the RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) department or sent via a traceable carrier that can provide proof of delivery.
2.
The customer is responsible for shipping costs to return the goods to Memory Systems, including duties and import charges. The purchase of insurance is at your discretion.
3.
Memory Systems will cover shipping costs back to you once your item RMA has been repaired / replaced as part of our Service Guarantee.
4.
Memory Systems is not responsible for loss or damage to the goods caused by third-party during its pick up, storage, transportation, delivery or installation.
III. RETURN POLICY
1.
Returns or exchanges are accepted for store credit during the first thirty (30) days from the date of the invoice. If your equipment is complete, without any defects and in its original packaging, we will give you a store credit minus a 20% restocking fee.
2.
For returns or exchanges for store credit, the goods must be presented as new, no visible damage and in original packaging with all accessories, including manuals, cds, cables, power supply, supplies or other accessories included at time of the sale, if you do not meet any of these requirements, Memory Systems reserves the right to refuse the return.
3.
For warranty returns, try to send your goods with original packaging and parts (cables, power, manual, etc.).
4.
No refunds or exchange on special orders.
5.
No refunds or exchanges after thirty (30) days from the date of the invoice.
6.
All returns, including warranty returns require an RMA number.
7.
Before sending the goods you must have a RMA # assigned.
8.
All items shipped without an RMA # and without a copy of the original invoice, will NOT be processed and Memory Systems will NOT be responsible for the goods.
9.
To obtain the RMA number you must fill out the RMA Form.
10.
Please follow all instructions on the form.
11.
If the RMA form is completed properly and it comes accompanied by copies of the invoices, MS will send back the completed form with the RMA number issued.
12.
The RMA # is valid for only 30 days from the date of issue.
13.
If the information in the RMA form is incomplete, no RMA number will be issued and your application will not be processed.
14.
Do not send any items that have not been specified in the RMA form.
15.
Please adequately prepare your return and be sure to mark the name of your company and the RMA # on the outside of the box.
16.
Any RMA items found to have "No defect or problem" may be re-sent to the client, by having the client cover all shipping costs.
17.
The Memory Systems Limited Warranty does not cover any of the following conditions:
• Abuse, unreaonable abuse, neglect or neglicence.
• Damage caused during installation of the product.
•Any type of physical damage.
• Any damage caused by power outages, faulty electrical networks, short circuit or voltage fluctuations.
• Damage caused by modifications, alterations or repairs made to the product by third parties without prior approval from Memory Systems.
• Products that have the serial number removed.
• Damage caused by improper use of packaging.
18.
Any alteration or modification to any product will void all warranties for the product and void the 30 day return policy.
19.
Memory Systems reserves the right to replace the merchandise until a replacement has been shipped directly from the manufacturer if applicable.
20.
If for any reason, Memory Systems chooses to replace the defective merchandise, it will have the right to retain the damaged goods in full ownership.
21.
After three months of notifying the customer of the repair or replacement of the goods and the same has not been picked up you will lose the right to recover it.
22.
Memory Systems is not liable for loss of use of the product during the period while the goods under warranty are repaired or replaced, nor will a loaner product be made available.
